NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the world largest youth organisation. It is open to school, college and university students on voluntary basis. It is a Tri-Services Organisation, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Wing, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The Officers served in root level is called Associate NCC Officer (ANO). The Motto of NCC is – Unity and Discipline.

NCC is started in this school in 1957 and Mr. Suchand Mukherjee was the first ANO but after his retirement, all NCC activities are remain closed up to 1997 for non-available of ANO. In 1997 NCC was re-raised and Mr. Kalyan Kumar Tah took charge. List of responsible persons with their service period regarding NCC are shown below –
